Engineered construction optimizes lumber utilization, with only the top layer being hardwood, significantly reducing wood consumption for flooring production. In fact, it enables the creation of four times more square footage of engineered flooring compared to solid alternatives.

Typically, wood flooring samples last only about 2 years, leading to wasteful disposal as products change. Smart Plank's samples, representing always available products since our 2018 inception, remain in use and are useful for years!
